BOE increases base rate to 4%

But says inflation has ''turned a corner''?!

Rather than beating around the same bush all of the time, it is easier to just report that the Bank of England has increased the base rate to 4%. An increase of 0.5%

I said at the start of the year that the BOE would end 2023 with a base rate of at least 5% - and this is the first step towards that target.
