It is a great point well-made and highlights the difference between the Venezuelan Oil type that is available in comparison to others around the globe.
Yes it was an interesting and valid point. However other commentators have noted that oil is a side issue and that Russia had plans to deploy its new Oreshnik and Kalibr missiles to Venezuela. From Venezuelan territory, the missiles could target most of South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and large portions of the United States including Washington. Maybe Trump has a broader geopolitical agenda than your guest acknowledged. Great interview, BTW.
