It is certainly going to be an interesting week ahead in the markets. This is being written whilst the Germans are in the process of voting. I do not know the outcome of that result. That result could have a massive impact not just on the German people but also the European Union and the markets as a result.

Covid 2.0?

The Chinese apparently found a new deadly coronavirus like bug at some point on Thursday/Friday last week. This could have helped explain the red candles on the major indices on Thursday/Friday and could also have the potential to create a market bloodbath come Monday.

Look at how the US major indices reacted to this:

If the Asian and European markets react in a negative manner on Monday then you can rest assured that this theme will likely continue into European and US trading, hence why there could be some form of bloodbath on Monday!

Meanwhile smart people like Buffett are loading up on cash and gold……..
