Weekly Open - 30/06/2025 - Dow Jones to new ATH? Nikkei up 5.57%, DAX up 2.92%, DXY lowest in 3 years 4 months!
US 10 Year Treasury Yield at 4.28%. UK 10 Year Gilt at 4.50%. Dollars come home as markets move onwards and upwards throughout the world.
Welcome to the Weekly Open. As usual, my apologies if any data and/or information has changed as a result of Asian/early European trading and any other issues that have occurred around the world.
It is US Independence Day on Friday 4th July. The Weekly Wrap for this coming week will still come out on Friday 4th July as I will keep an eye open on the commodities, EU and Asian markets throughout the week.

Summary of the major indices last week
DOW JONES = UP 1,612.45 points (+3.82%)
NASDAQ = UP 907.81 points (+4.20%) - NEW ALL TIME HIGH
S & P 500 = UP 205.23 points (+3.44%) - NEW ALL TIME HIGH
DAX = UP 682.67 points (+2.92%)
FTSE 100 = UP 37.4 points (+0.43%)
NIKKEI = UP 2,139 points (+5.57%)
HANG SENG = UP 753.67 points (+3.20%)
All new time highs for the S&P 500 and NASDAQ last week. The Dow Jones is approximately 1,255 points away from achieving a new ATH and I would personally expect to see that happen sooner rather than later.
