Unions, unions and more unions.

I wasn’t around in the 1970’s but I know people that were, and they say that what is going on in 2022 is going to create a lot of unforseen circumstances.

There is a fine line to balance between too much government intervention and too much union action. Ultimately, we should not trust a word that comes out of the mouth of either representative body. Trust no-one.

Back in the 1970’s (so I am told) you would get a union to go the government, ask for a full pay rise, be denied it and then go back to the negotiating table and thrash out a deal.
