I'm rooting for the Starmer prediction though.. I am A-political but that creature is particularly repugnant !!

Agreed. Something just indicates to me that he won't be there (one way or another) at the end of 2025

I do not see Au selling off to $2,200.

Far too much demand from the east and far too much fiat out there that will need shelter from inflation..plus the Phys/ spot + west/east arbitrage will not allow it.. in my opinion

It's a bit of a 'bold prediction' that I've made but all we can do is see what happens

Airlines will struggle as will hospitality . Retail and commercial real estate will continue to struggle and fall. More of the masses will jump into crypto causing opportunities in commodities to be smaller as less liquidity .

I think they’ll be a real push in ESG/ net zero space by governments .

that’ll create opportunities in fossil fuels , drilling companies long term .but that’s just me.

Good points well made. There will always be opportunities in the markets and oil/gas/drilling could be some very good plays moving forwards

I could see a recession due to the global liquidity cycles but I would say more likely to hit in 2026
